Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I visit my dentist?

Dr. Mo Budak and Dr. Michael Piccione agree with the American Dental Association: patients of all ages should come in for a standard cleaning and oral exam at least twice a year. This will give our team the chance to clean your teeth in a way you simply can’t at home as well as stop small dental problems from becoming bigger headaches in the future.

Will you treat my children?

Yes! We love treating your littlest smiles. Unlike many other practices, we actually don’t have an age limit for children, so if they can smile, we’re happy to see them!

When should I bring my child in for their first visit?

According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, your child’s first dental visit should be around the time of their first birthday. They should have teeth by this age, but you should bring them in even if they don’t. At this visit, we’ll take time to acclimate your child to our office and do a gentle cleaning/exam. We’ll then discuss with you how to take care of their smile moving forward.

I have a decayed/broken tooth. Can you help me?

We certainly can. In fact, with our CEREC one visit restorations, we can design, mill, and place a completely customized all-porcelain crown or bridge in just a few hours, not weeks! With just one appointment, we can rebuild your smile using strong, durable, and natural looking restorations.

I just don’t like how my smile looks. What should I do?

You should come see us! With your input and our cosmetic treatments, we can design the perfect smile for you. You’ll be amazed at the transformation we can make using just one or two simple treatments. With us, the only limit is your imagination. If you’re ready for a complete smile makeover or just a small touch-up, be sure to contact our office today

Can you replace my missing teeth?

We can, and we actually have a few ways we can do it. Traditional bridges and dentures are extremely reliable solutions, but for a more permanent one, we also offer dental implants. Unlike other treatments, they restore your entire tooth both above and below the gum line, providing a much stronger hold and more natural appearance. They are extremely versatile, and they can be used to replace a single tooth, anchor a bridge, or even support a full denture!

I sleep throughout the night, but I’m always tired during the day. What is the problem?

You may be suffering from sleep apnea, which is a condition where a person stops breathing periodically throughout the night. As you can imagine, this can dramatically impact your health. Fortunately, we can offer you simple and effective oral appliance therapy right in our office. This small mouthpiece can alleviate the symptoms of sleep apnea and help you rest better from the very first night you wear it!
